PNGU3263.DLL, was not found
PROBLEM:
When you start Microsoft Windows, the following error message may
appear: Error Starting Program
A required .DLL file, PNGU3263.DLL, was not found.
When you click OK, your computer starts normally.
CAUSE:
This issue can occur when the Real Jukebox media player is installed
on your computer. Real Jukebox requires the Pngu3263.dll file for
proper operation. If this file is missing or corrupted, Real Jukebox
cannot start.
RESOLUTION:
To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Uninstall and Reinstall Real
Jukebox
Reinstall Real Jukebox to replace any missing or damaged files. To
uninstall and then reinstall Real Jukebox, follow these steps:
1. On the taskbar, click Start, point to Settings, and then click
Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. In the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box, click Real
Jukebox on the Install/Uninstall tab, and then click Add/Remove.
You receive the following message:
Are you sure you want to completely remove
the Real Jukebox and all of its components?
4. Click OK twice, and then restart your computer.
5. Reinstall Real Jukebox. For instructions on how to do this, contact
the manufacturer. See the "More Information" section of this article.
Method 2: Turn off Real Jukebox or
Remove Real Jukebox from the Startup Group
To turn off Real Jukebox, follow these steps:
1. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type Msconfig, and then click OK.
3. In System Configuration utility, click to clear all check boxes
related to the Real Jukebox program on the Startup tab, for example,
Real Jukebox Systray.
4. Click Apply, click OK, and then click Yes to restart your computer.
To remove Real Jukebox from the Startup tab, follow these steps.
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can
cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your
operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting
from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry
Editor at your own risk.
For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing
Keys and Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the
"Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data"
Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry
before you edit it. If you are running Windows NT or Windows 2000, you
should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).
1. Click Start, click Run, and then
type Regedit to start Registry Editor.
2. Locate any Real Jukebox values under the following key in the
registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Run
3. Right-click each Real Jukebox value, and then click Delete.
4. Quit Registry Editor.
